How Do We Think, Choose, and Change?
Dynamic Competence began with two educators and a mathematician asking how people navigate conflict, choice, and change. Three generations later, that question is still open, now carried forward through conversation.
For over 25 years, Dynamic Competence brought a rigorous, research-grounded approach to organizational change. Our goals were to help companies and communities work through high-stakes, high-conflict problems using tools rooted in metacognition and collaborative design.
That consulting practice shaped how a lot of people think about change. Its principles are still in use today, in the organizations we worked with and in the next chapter of this family's work.
These days, our energy is mostly here: in The Art of Dynamic Competence, a podcast where we sit down with scientists, artists, facilitators, and change-makers to talk about how people actually navigate transformation, in their work, their communities, and their own thinking.
Consulting inquiries: wile Dynamic Competence is no longer taking new engagements, we're glad to point you toward people doing this work today.
